How did this all come about? Well, in short, it took two average born-and-bred Chicago guys who were tired of the ever-constant lame and one-sided sports views in this great city of Chicago. Let’s face it….who knows more about Chicago sports? A lifelong Chicago sports fan or a journalism major from Anywhere, USA. This really all started for one of the writers back in college. In an effort to pay for meals on the weekend, he started writing for his University’s newspaper. Soon after, he realized that the newspaper only covered the University’s athletics. Seeing as this meant covering Division II sports (besides one sport), he decided to pitch the idea to the editor that it was indeed time to think about a weekly article that covered sports outside of the University’s scope on a national level. It was a success.

Today, we both are contant subscribers to sports-related Web sites and blogs and thus we felt it was time to start our own. You won’t hear bashing about specific teams or players, just the facts. We promise to keep the information constant, up-to-date, and real.
